Personalised Clinical Nutrition.

Nutrition isn't just about what you eat - it's about understanding how your body, lifestyle and health history work together.

Personalised clinical nutrition takes an evidence-informed approach to understanding your health. Rather than offering generic advice, I take the time to understand your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and goals before developing practical nutrition and lifestyle recommendations tailored to your individual needs.

What is Personalised Clinical Nutrition?

‍ ‍Clinical nutrition is the application of evidence-informed nutrition science to support health and wellbeing. It goes beyond simply providing meal plans or telling you which foods to avoid. Instead, it considers how nutrition, lifestyle and other factors may be influencing your overall health.

As a Certified Practising Nutritionist, I work with you to better understand your health concerns and develop a practical plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences and goals. Where appropriate, this may also include reviewing pathology, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), nutrigenomic information or other relevant clinical testing to help personalise your care.

How It Works

Every person's health story is unique, which is why no two nutrition plans are exactly the same.

My approach begins by listening to your story and understanding your symptoms, health history, lifestyle and goals. From there, we work together to identify the nutritional and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your health concerns and develop a personalised plan that is practical, realistic and sustainable.

Rather than expecting you to change everything overnight, recommendations are introduced progressively, with ongoing support and education to help you make informed decisions about your health.

Lauren’s Perspective

"I don't believe good nutrition is about following the latest trend or eating perfectly. It's about understanding what your body needs, making practical changes that fit your life and building habits you can maintain for the long term."

Frequently Asked Questions

What can a Certified Practising Nutritionist help with?

Certified Practising Nutritionists support people with a wide range of health concerns by providing personalised nutrition and lifestyle advice. My particular areas of interest include burnout, persistent fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog and blood sugar and metabolic health.

Recommendations are always tailored to your individual circumstances and are designed to complement the care provided by your GP and other healthcare professionals where appropriate.

Will I need to follow a restrictive diet?

Not usually. My approach isn't about following rigid rules or eliminating foods unnecessarily. Recommendations are based on your individual health needs, goals and preferences and test results with a focus on practical, sustainable changes that fit your lifestyle.

Where dietary changes are recommended, I'll explain the reasoning behind them and work with you to develop an approach that feels realistic and achievable.

Will I need nutritional supplements?

Many people benefit from nutritional supplements, particularly where food alone may not be sufficient to address identified nutrient insufficiencies, increased nutritional requirements or specific health goals. Recommendations are always based on your individual health history, symptoms, dietary intake and, where appropriate, clinical assessment or testing. Nutritional supplements are used to complement nutrition and lifestyle strategies as part of a personalised plan - not replace them.
